Bailey the Pug.

This is Bailey, she is the one of the Love's of my life!
My very first pug, in my adult life. My Aunt raised them when I was a child,
that is how I came to love pugs. Bailey is such a joy, she is so loving, if you've ever known a pug you know exactly what I mean. Every day she does something new to amaze me.
We just celebrated her 9th bd. Randy was getting his hair cut and our stylist came in with a basket of the cutest puppies he'd ever seen. Our stylist had just had the puppies vet checked as they were newborn. Randy told her how much I wanted a pug. When he told me that they would be available in a few weeks, I was so excited, time dragged on and on. When we were finally able to go and see her, I sat on the floor in pug heaven beside myself with glee. Randy kept telling me over and over"honey we can only take one home!" Bailey was the first one to come and climb in my lap, she was also the smallest. It was a long 3 more weeks before she could become part of our family. At least I had the video of her while we were waiting for her to reach the 6 weeks mark. My family got so tired of seeing the video. The day we brought her home, I knew my life was complete.
In this picture she was actually sleeping under the blanket snoring peacefully.
She heard the wrapper come off of a slice of cheese. Yep that's all it took to wake her from her deep slumber. Giving me the look "Did you really think you could get away with eating cheese with out me mom?" Really eating anything, if she hears you crunching be prepared to share.

Being owned by a pug is quite an experience, the only thing they demand is love and attention and of course treats. She has to share our attention with 3 other dogs, but she still thinks "she is top dog" we just let her think that.

One of the cutest things she does and (there are many) is when you are talking to her, she cocks her head from side to side. I know she understands me. She has her own pillow on our bed, she sleeps at the top of my pillow. Her snoring lulls me to sleep, like ocean waves do for others.
When she is snuggled up with me and I hear those beautiful snores. It doesn't matter how rough my day was, all is right with the world.

I could go on and on about her as you can tell.
I would love to hear about your pet stories.
Thanks for reading.
